African Queen’s Extended Range of Wearable Art

Although African Queen focuses on handbags, pouches, cushions and other goods made from the finest leather, they also occasionally produce fine scarves, shirts or custom-made African style outfits or uniforms.

The shirts in the photographs are in production so they are not available at present - they will be added to range shortly.

Finest Linen Shirts

“Being a shirt person I am in love with these shirts. They are made from the finest linen and cottons with embellishments,” says Nicci.  “To launch the range we have either the cowry shell shirt or the all Saints shirts with pictures of the Saints stitched on as embellishments.”

Scarves - Unique in Design

"We use the best quality Mohair and Cashmere /wool combination for the African Queen Scarves. Each is unique in design with African beads / seed glass beads / shells / pearls and crystal making each of these products a handmade masterpiece. Fabrics are limited and as such, we can perhaps do only four a specific colour way making these even more special. We also do the same scarf in a soft chiffon type fabric, which is more affordable and also more suitable for the warmer climate. Clients can decide on colour combination."

Having done numerous formal companies uniforms in the past, African Queen decided to do a funky range of African inspired clothing to spruce up any lodge or hotel.
